Yvonne also supervises play therapists and believes in the importance of maintaining high standards of work from an ethical framework. She has managed a residential centre in Naas and Blessington for five years and recently developed a Play therapy service for the Lucan and Clondalkin community as it has very few services. She is a qualified social care worker and play therapist with further training in bereavement, separation and loss, community addiction studies, strengthening families training, supervisors training, Filial therapy skills, direct work, and floortime approach for working with children with Autisim. Yvonne works holistically with families and works intensively with parents and with children one to one and then with them all as a family unit. She has worked with families effected by Suicide, drug misuse, Alcoholism, Domestic Violance and other forms of abuse.
Yvonne has worked in the field of social care for seventeen years.
